•• Front&Center will not work with System 6 or earlier.
•• Front&Center uses less than 1500 bytes (1.5K) of System memory after loading during startup.
•• Front&Center uses about 35K of System memory when the control panel is opened.
•• Front&Center uses about 70K of disk space. This manual uses about 175K of disk space (too many pictures…). The movies and the Register application use about 95K of disk space. The total disk space used is about 340K.
To Install Front&Center:
⌥1⌥ Drop Front&Center's icon (left icon below) on top of your System Folder icon (right icon below). When asked if it's OK to place Front&Center in the Control Panels folder, click “OK”.
 
‚å•2‚å• Restart your Mac.
•• During startup, pressing the shift key or holding down the mouse button prevents Front&Center from loading. If Front&Center doesn't load, its icon appears with an X through it (right icon below). If Front&Center loads OK, the normal icon appears (left icon below).
 
•• See the chapter “What Could Possibly Go Wrong” if the X'ed icon appears and you didn't press the shift key or hold down the mouse button.
